Every person has something to do with mental illness in their life. Either they suffer from one themselves, or their close ones do. This game portraits those with mental issues as heroes. Mentals is not only a game, it is an empowering device for those with a dark weight of psychological problems on their shoulders. I myself suffer from bipolar disorder, so writing this game is also a form of therapy.
