Mexican Railways

Description

From Tijuana to Merida, from Matamoros to Merida, the entirely of Mexico is encompassed in Mexican Railways. Foreign connections to the United States and Guatemala provide lucrative incentives in this luckless economic game where the most money at the end of the game wins. Business interests drive players in continual expansion. Loans are taken for intensive capital investment, with the game ending when one player has expended all their cubes. Family money provides an initial boost to these ventures.

Mexican Railways is a stand-alone game that uses the wood cubes, the money and the base rules of Iberian Railways. The game is for 3-5 players and lasts about an hour. The 'International Mexico' bonus is a new, very powerful addition to the game as are the international connections.

Mexican Railways is the fourth game using Winsome’s Regional Railways System. The prior three games were Rhodesian Railways, Balkan Railways and Iberian Railways. The base rules for this system may be downloaded from Rio Grande Games page for Iberian Railways.
