Midway Campaign

User Summary:

Midway Campaign simulates the famous mid-1942 air/naval battle of WW2.
Utilizing textual graphics to portray a map of the Midway Island area of the Central Pacific, players control the US forces against computer controlled Japanese forces.

The focus is upon searching for the enemy, readying and launching air strikes and subsequently recovering them.
The goal for the Japanese forces is to reach Midway Island and remain there for a number of turns, thereby signifying a successful invasion and winning the game thusly.

The goal for the US player is to prevent the Japanese side from achieving their objective by sinking enough Japanese aircraft carriers to make them abort their attack.
