Mighty Heroes and the Monster Zone (MHMZ) is a game of strategy and chance utilizing cards, dice, and miniatures. Each player controls a faction (Spies, Ninjas, Robots, or Pirates) consisting of a faction deck of 8+ cards, a miniature representing a Hero, and a display tile. They will advance up the game board with their Hero by attacking fellow players, slipping by uncontested, or by battling monsters. As they move up the board they are hindered and helped by random Special FX cards. Each faction has a unique special ability to aid in their advance. Heroes will also level up as they make progress. The first Hero to make it into the wormhole at the top of the board wins.
Basic Premise: An evil mad scientist has merged our universe with that of the Monster Zone. As is becomes more and more corrupted a wormhole to an alternate dimension opens and all the Heroes desperately attempt to make it through to safety before it closes.
