Description

Publisher's blurb:

MIKE'S WORLD: THE FORSAKEN WILDERNESS BEYOND expands on the fantasy world first introduced B2: The Keep on the Borderlands. If you have ever wondered what perilous lands further surround the Keep, this is the book for you.

MIKE'S WORLD includes 14 hand-drawn wilderness maps of war-torn lands with details of their monstrous denizens, ancient ruins, eldritch mysteries, and more. It is perfect for all levels of campaign play and for both complete novices as well as for those who have played for decades.

DETAILS, PLEASE?

This book was made with Moldvay/Cook's 1981 Dungeons & Dragons rules, but it can easily be used with other versions of the game.

WHAT IT IS NOT:

This world is not for collecting, not for reading, not for gazing at, and not for displaying on your coffee table. It has no art, no stylish formatting, no production values at all. If you aren't going to use and abuse this in a game, there's no reason to buy it.

WHAT IT IS:

The word for this is FUN. This is the world you could have made when you were 12 years old, but were too lazy. There are no long-winded histories, complicated calendars, detailed weather charts, intricate genealogies, complex pantheons, or anything of the sort. This is a no-nonsense campaign setting for playing D&D.

YOU CAN PREVIEW ALL 14 MAPS.

You read that right. You can freely preview every single page of this book. It's like you're flipping through this in a bookstore before you make your decision to buy.

Fight on!
