This adventure is designed for 1-6 adventurers of any level (although the end fight is designed for level 5-6 characters). This is a short, not so serious, adventure that can be inserted almost anywhere, it works best in big towns/cities. When I ran it (during the lost mines of Phandelver adventure,) I set it in Leilon.
Your PCs will hear rumours of strange things happening in town, they will then be required to investigate a couple of incidences themselves, perhaps catching a glimpse of the cause, Boggles! This will lead to them either being on the run or imprisoned, or maybe even both!
From here they will have to escape their cells/pursuers and find the source of the Boggle scourge that is wreaking havoc in the city. That source is a gigantic Treant that has been magically bound so that 'someone' can steal its life essence.
A final battle will see the PCs having to free the Treant while battling lesser Treants and dealing with the "help" supplied by hundreds of Boggles.
