mini istanbul is a 2 player game inspired by Istanbul. In mini istanbul, players are merchants attempting to amass a collection of gemstones.
Inspired by Project Shrinko!, mini istanbul makes use of a limited set of custom components to recreate the experience of its big brother. Alterations to create mini istanbul include fewer resources with recalculated availability, dice for movement (no more tokens), custom spinner dials for money and items (no more stacks of tiles), an innovative pull out player board (no more cartwright tiles), and a custom set of 6 cards with 12 altered locations to suit the smaller footprint of the game.
While most Istanbul rules are applicable, several adjustments are noted in the document included in the files section.
