Monster Catcher is a color matching game for young children.
The aim of the game is collect as many monsters as possible by matching the color of monster feet cards to monster head cards. But watch out for the monster catcher! He will capture one of your completed monsters and allow another player to scoop it up.
The game begins with each player selecting 2 monster feet cards (any color). They take turns to pickup a card from the pickup pile.
Monster Head - if the color matches the player's monster feet cards, then the player keeps the card to make a complete monster. If the color does not match, then the player must put the monster head in the discard pile.
Monster Feet - is added to the player's collection
Monster Catcher - captures one of the player's completed monsters and places it in the middle of the play area
Empty net - allows the player to rescue all of the captured monsters and add them to their own collection
