You need some paper and a writing utensil to play. I prefer to use standard letter sheets of paper and a graphite pencil with an eraser. You can use any paper that you have handy and any pencil or pen that you have available. Use what you have. Changing the paper or writing utensil will change the feel of the game and may require you to adjust or change the rules to fit the materials that you have available. In the rules, I’ll say pencil and paper but you use what you like.
