Players choose a character and travel on a random board made of individual tiles. They face monsters which re-spawn until monster generators are destroyed. Monster generation and combat are resolved by rolling dice.
Goals vary with the type of game selected. In a cooperative games and solo play, players must get rid of all monsters. In death match, players must kill each other and are only eliminated when killed by another player.

Each expansion comes with two unique player characters, monsters and their generators, items, traps and encounters. All components include (8) 6.25" x 6.25" tiles laid out on a 1 inch to 5 foot scale and (150+) die cut pieces; all in full-color.
