The Monster Book II was an accessory to the earlier editions of the Swedish role-playing game Drakar & Demoner [Dragons & Demons] and contained descriptions of over 80 different intelligent creatures, animals and monsters. The Monster Book II was published in 1987 after Áventyrsspel [a subsidiary of Target Games] announced a monster competition in the periodical Sinkadus 4 in February 1986. The "best" entries were published in The Monster Book II along with a number of creatures by Áventyrsspel staff Anders Blixt and Michael Petersén.
Monster Book II, like its predecessor The Monster Book, was replaced in 1990 by Drakar & Demoner Monster.

The Monster Book II has eight chapters: Present day animals, ice age animals, dinosaurs, humanoids, legendary creatures, magical creatures, undead and plants. Each creature is described with appearance, habits, habitat, attributes, skills and abilities.
