A Japanese only Famicom/NES game, Moon Crystal stars Ricky in his quest to rescue his father and uncover the mystery behind Count Crimson and the Moon Crystal. Moon Crystal is a side scrolling action platformer similar to most NES games. However, Moon Crystal stands out due to the amount of frames per animation found for both the player and enemy sprites, resulting in a very fluid looking game. Moon Crystal also has in-game cut-scenes similar to those found in Ninja Gaiden.
