Moonwalker Orcs are a spacefaring species of Orcs native to the Forgotten Realms moon, Selûne.
From the moment a Moonwalker Orc is born, their military training begins. A baby Moonwalker Orc is taken from their parents at birth, and raised among other younglings, to avoid developing familial bonds that might overcome their dedication to the tribe as a whole. Moonwalker orc younglings are raised on the same training grounds used by soldiers.
The majority of Moonwalker Orc society strives to be a part of the military chain of command, but there are other routes for those who are unable, or the rare moonwalker orc that doesn’t want to fight. There is a place for every Orc in Moonwalker society, even if one becomes injured or ill. Due to the overwhelming desire to work as soldiers, there is a high demand for orcs in other professions. Many times taking up one of these professions, even ones as simple as sanitation, are greatly respected, since there is so little willing to work a career outside of the military.
