My Father's Hammer is a solo or group story-telling game where you role-play as a Tool inherited from a beloved Ancestor. Over time you age and your Components require Replacement, but somehow you are always the same.

Once my father used it. Now it is passed down to me.

I use it to build, fix, improvise.

The grip wears out and a new one is wrapped around its handle.

The wood grows old and the handle cracks. A new handle is fitted.

The head rusts and flakes. A new head is attached to the handle.
