Instead of pawns, wooden characters move around the board, so children can impersonate their favorite fairy tale characters. A standard die with dots is replaced here by a multicolored wooden dice, so even toddlers who can't count yet can play their first board game.
The manual also encourages players to play the cooperative variant, in which all players collect berries to a common basket. This way, rivalry will be eliminated from the game and the little player can focus on having fun, enjoying the time spent together and teaching cooperation.
