The Cressian forests are known for their quality lumber exports. For years, the city states have profited off their logging efforts and now the forests have begun to thin from the greed of those in charge. Recently, those working the lumber camps have reported plants and animals becoming hostile and attacking them as they attempt to work. Shipments of wood have slowed and profits are falling. The collective city states have decided to put out a reward for whoever can stop these attacks and restart the flow of lumber from the camps. As a starting point, whoever takes up the quest will be sent to a forward camp deep in the forest where the attacks have been the worst.
