NBA JAM 2001, developed by DC Studios, was released solely for Game Boy Color, by Acclaim in 2000. The game is very similar to the previous Game Boy installment, NBA Jam 99. It's main difference is the added 2-player mode, through the use of the Link Cable and Two Game boy's with two Game Paks.
