Description

From publisher blurb:

"Nellie's Nursery" is a beginner friendly adventure for D&D 5E. A dark tale of living toys, monstrous creatures, unnatural abominations and one little girl in a life sized dollhouse of terror. Designed for player groups from level 1 to 3 (Tier 1).

Nellie, Nellie was always an odd child. Born to a family of wealth and privilege, her parents made the grave mistake of spoiling her rotten. Nellie, Nellie was an evil child, torturing animals and people alike for her amusement. Nellie, Nellie was a powerful child. What happens when you mix the powers of an arch wizard with the temperament of a rich and spoiled girl?

Before you stands a large decrepit two story building. Its lawn is thick and overgrown, yet you see none of the telltale signs of wildlife that would normally accompany such wild growth. The building's walls consist of rough weathered wood. Its paint, having been worn away by the elements decades ago, is long since gone.

There is definitely something odd about the forlorn structure. Though the building appears to be the proper size for a human construction, the windows on the house are small and set low in its walls.

Your feet crunch on the dirt walkway, disturbing the eerie silence that surrounds you. The wooden floor boards of the house's front porch creak wearily as you trod upon them, climbing the front the stairs, crossing the porch, and hesitating for a moment before the house's double front doors. Then you grab one of the door's front handles and turn it, revealing the building's front room.
