Escape from Nemo's Island is a game in which 2-4 players have become stranded on an island where Captain Nemo retired from the world long ago. They must explore the island to gather resources (food, water and fuel), with which they can escape in the Nautilus.
Captain Nemo has also hidden his marvelous inventions around the island, and player can use clues to dig up those treasures. Gathering resources and digging up treasures earn the player victory points.
But Nemo has also hidden booby traps around the island, and if enough of the traps are triggered, the volcano on the island erupts and covers the island with lava. If the players escape the island before the lava covers the island, then the player with the most victory points wins, so players must work together to gather the resources needed to escape, but also work independently to dig up treasures to win the game.
