Boathooks is a set of late medieval naval wargames rules related to (but not requiring) their landlubbing forefather: Never Mind the Billhooks.
Boathooks is a light-hearted card and dice-driven game of skirmish combat on the seas, where a tactician’s approach counts for little in the face of the tides of fortune.

A handful of medieval model boats and figures are required for each side.
Create and customise your fleet with a variety of warships, galleys, support vessels (skiffs), and more advanced vessels (carracks, merchantmen, and great ships).
Rally your seafarers with Captains and Admirals. Each player requires one Captain figure onboard each of their warships and an Admiral on their flagship.
Lead your forces to victory and win the sea skirmish by capturing/sinking your enemy’s flagship or by depleting their morale.
