Description
New Deal is a solitaire card game in which you are trying to help the US recover from the great depression. You play as Franklin D. Roosevelt and will implement economic policies and deal with various crises that arise.
There are 8 objectives in the game, each representing an area of the US economy, such as Banking, Agriculture, and Public Works. The game is played over 15 turns. Each turn consists of 5 phases in which you 1) draw 9 cards 2) Play one crisis card (if you have one) 3) Play a legislative card 4) Play a set of cards to enhance one of the objectives 5) Discard between 1 and 5 cards. At the end of the game, you determine your final score by multiplying your lowest objective score with your highest objective score.
