From the introduction:
New Horizon is an adventure designed to be run by a moderately experienced Games Master in order to introduce players who are both new to role-playing and / or new to the Shadowrun game. Play duration should be approximately 3 to 4 hours and it can thus be run as a demonstration game at conventions and other events. Unlike most Shadowrun adventures this takes on more of a horror theme, as it concerns some of the worst new phenomenon encountered during the Year of the Comet.
