User Summary
New Math Blaster Plus! is an upgraded and updated rerelease of Math Blaster Plus! The game includes new stages and enhanced graphics. As part of the Math Blaster series, the game is designed to teach children basic math skills, focusing on addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, and percents.
Players take control of a Blasternaut spaceman in a variety of stages. The levels feature 750 math problems classified into 30 difficulty levels, and users can create custom equations and problem sets using an integrated editor program.
There are four activities included in the game:
Rocket Launcher – Players construct a rocket by solving equations. A piece is added to the ship for each correctly answered question.
Trash Zapper – Players answer a set of five problems by shooting down trash that is labeled with the correct answer. Once all five problems have been solved, the player is given a limited time to shoot down as much floating trash as possible.
Number Recycler – Players form equations from numbers and operators within a recycling machine. The different columns can be shifted to modify the equations, and correct answers are rewarded with coins.
Math Blaster – Players start on a planet’s surface and must fly to the space station with the correct answer to each problem. Blasternaut must avoid floating trash hazards and prevent Trash Aliens from landing on the planet’s surface.
The game is designed for children aged 6 to 12.
