In NHL Powerplay '96, players can choose from all the 1995-1996 teams from the NHL as well as a selection of Olympic teams. You also have the option of trading or creating players or play as if you're in a real game with the Season, Exhibition, and Playoff modes. Gameplay also allows realistic character interactions such as high-sticking and body checks. The game can be played solo or with a friend locally.
