Description
The original game in the classic Wolfgang Kramer racing series which includes Detroit-Cleveland Grand Prix, Daytona 500 and Top Race. This game most resembles Mayfair Games's version of the game Detroit-Cleveland Grand Prix. The basic mechanism of auctioning the cars and then playing race is there. This game includes the infamous "White 10" which was considered too unbalancing to use.
Alan R. Moon produced a modified rules set and an additional track to use with this version.
The latest re-issue of Kramer's Formel Eins with tweaks and additional expansions is Downforce published in 2017.
