Description

This trick-taking game is a standard deck playing card game and can be played in teams or not. The deck is dealt and each player is given thirteen cards; if played in partnerships, partners sit across the table from each other.

Players begin the game with 9 points. The goal is to reach 0.

Play begins with a person leading a trick, other players must follow suit if possible. If a player is void in the led suit, the player can play off or cut in with trump.

The trump suits change each round. The order of trump is: heart, diamond, spade, club and no trump. So The first turn the trump suit is heart, the second turn diamond. et c.

Players gain or lose points by number of tricks taken. 5 tricks or more is -1 point, 4 tricks is +0 points, and 3 or fewer is +1 point. The first person to 0 points wins.
