Ninja Lite is a cooperative board game where you control ninjas from the Crow Clan, tasked with infiltrating a samurai compound to eliminate a traitorous warlord, the Daimyo. The game emphasizes stealth, strategy, and teamwork as players navigate through a heavily guarded area. Each player takes turns moving their ninja, using action cards to attack, evade detection, or collect critical information.
Gameplay:
1. Event Phase: Draw event cards that can introduce new enemies or challenges.
2. Ninja Phase: Players decide the order in which ninjas move, taking actions like moving, attacking, or retrieving information.
3. Enemy Phase: Enemies patrol and respond to player actions. Alerted enemies attack ninjas, making the mission more challenging.
The game features both melee and ranged combat. When an enemy becomes alert, they raise the difficulty by summoning reinforcements and chasing ninjas. Players must carefully manage noise and avoid detection to succeed.
Victory Conditions:
Players win by gathering incriminating evidence against the Daimyo and eliminating him. The game ends in failure if time runs out, all ninjas die, or if the Daimyo is killed before gathering enough data.
Ninja Lite includes varying difficulty modes, optional event cards, and additional missions to enhance replayability.
