Nintendo Mini Classics is a series of small LCD games licensed by Nintendo since 1998. Most of the games in the series are reissues of Game & Watch titles , although it also includes new/original titles. All Mini Classics titles are still officially licensed by Nintendo.
Design
Each Mini Classics unit is designed to look like a small Game Boy . The units typically have a D-pad and three buttons. A large action button that is also used to set the alarm, and two smaller buttons that are usually named "Game A" and "Game B" but can also serve different functions depending on the game. A keychain is attached to the top left corner, but could be removed. Most units also had support on the back. However, some games are not supported, especially dual-screen releases like Oil Panic and Donkey Kong. Like Play and Clock, Nintendo Mini Classics units have alarm clock features. Some games, like Oil Panic, have two screens. Each unit is powered by two AG13/button cell/LR44 batteries, which come with the Nintendo Mini Classic.
