North Africa: Campaign in the Desert 1940-42

Game ID: GID0229136
Collection Status
Description

North Africa was the first original "monster" game published in Japan. It is played on a 22"x96" map (made of two 22"x48" sections) which stretches from near El Agheila in the west to the Suez Canal in the east.

The game contains 24 counter sheets with a total of 3,168 counters. Based on a picture the counters on the map may be generic with specific units in holding boxes, but this is somewhat speculative.

The rules are relatively short. There are eleven chart and player aid sheets separate from the map. Based on the turn record on the map, the campaign game lasts for 119 turns (presumably weekly).
