In this game, each player becomes João Romão, owning his own tenement and striving to build houses, rent, negotiate, set fire and avoid fires, traps and confrontations with rival groups.

Play and have fun to better understand the occupation of geographical spaces, the social and cultural formation of Brazil, and, above all, to immerse yourself in the literary universe of Aluísio Azevedo.

Every turn you can use 3 types of cards: properties, tenants and action to earn money. The game ends when a player accumulates (the same sum of money the character in the book is seeking to accumulate). The player with most money at the end wins.
