While I intended Obsidian Escalation to go hand-in-hand with Crimson Dragon Slayer D20 and the upcoming Encounter Critical III roleplaying game, it's useable with pretty much every OSR combat system. Goes great with savage, unforgiving campaign settings like Cha'alt, as well.
