Old As the Sky, Old As the Moon is a melancholic storytelling game for 1-6 players about leaving everything you know behind to join someone else's quest. This game includes detailed instructions on how to play both in person and remotely in quarantine conditions, the complete table of prompts (drawn from and corresponding to a deck of standard playing cards), and my own layout and graphic design.
Both epic in scope and deeply personal, Old As the Sky, Old As the Moon draws inspiration from Peter S. Beagle's fantasy novel and subsequent animated movie, The Last Unicorn. This game uses the Descended From the Queen format of round-robin prompted storytelling to weave the tapestry of your quest along with your co-players. Tell the tale of the unicorn's quest, and why it still lingers with you.
