From the introduction to the adventure
The Heroes have just spent a week recuperating from their last mission, possibly learning to use Primal Magic whilst they do so. At the end of this time, as they leave the palace on their way back to their house, the Heroes are accosted by an old fortune teller huddled in the shelter of the Palace gateway. This obviously old and hunched Black Elf is swathed in various ancient and matted blankets and cloaks and has a bowl for donations in front of him. He (although “his” gender is uncertain) also has a small pile of rune-carved bones on an upturned crate.
