From the Module description:
A Trigger Event has spiraled young Sund Flaeme into a Fugue state. No stranger to torment, Sund has lived a troubled life, and has coped as well as He is able. However, the baggage has been building up in his mind to the extent his most recent Trauma has sent him plunging into his own mind. Here, each of his coping mechanisms (the PC’s) are weighed and found wanting. Sund must re-arrange his own psyche to be in the position to return to a “normal” equilibrium and deal with the rest of his life.
The Characters inside the Module do not know, and should only begin to suspect later through Scene 2, that they are artificial creatures, and no one should actually suspect which of the PC’s is the original persona until right at the end of the Module (if at all). Thus, the Module is aimed specifically at grinding down the PC’s through the surreal accompaniment of a “Mindscape” independent of the external activities, which have triggered this Event. This “Mindscape” has full sensory and realistic hallucination components, so nothing can be trusted… but it is
all ‘real’ enough, and everything has the Power to affect the PC’s, as they will discover.
