One Against the Dead

One Against the Dead is a solitaire zombie game, abstracted to use a small set of components that you probably have laying around the house.

The player places cards on the table, revealing new section of the zombie-plagued city as he moves. The card placement determines numerous things; how many zombies are added to the city, which places cannot be moved through, and where various weapons and survivors that need to be rescued are. Ultimately, the goal of the game is for the player get out of the city before becoming overwhelmed by the ever-increasing zombie force that follows and blocks the player.
