Description

オーチャードプラン (Orchard Plan) is a game from Japan. Players develop their own orchard farm by placing tiles to expand their production. After selling the crop to create income, players can then invest in better equipment to improve production.

Each player has their own board showing the orchard, and starts with one fruit tree tile. The fruit tree tiles show spaces for 0 to 4 cubes, which are cubes in three colours, red, blue, yellow, for each variety of apple. The player also has a small truck, that is moved about to harvest the crop. The truck and exit the player's board from one side and enter from any other side, but must pass over tiles to harvest fruit. Players can place fruit cubes but only on free spaces and not where their truck is placed.

The game has a marketplace, and a series of long thin tiles are placed under the market to indicate demand. Each demand tile shows a number of cubes in each colour wanted, and as contracts are completed, the tiles move up and fresh tiles are placed from the left.

Each player keeps their income hidden behind a screen and spends money to acquire new fruit tiles, seed their crop and harvest.

At the end of the game, the wealthiest player is the winner.
