Powerful herders and alpine trekkers, mountain orkáni are rugged, fun-loving, and adventurous. Their homes often built on the side of huge cliffs or deep valleys, they are well known for their impressive sheep and goat herds, as well as their service as wilderness guides and rescuers.
Competitiveness is built into the culture of the Plains Orkani. From the moment a child is able to walk to the day they die their lives are filled with competitions against their peers to teach them valuable skills along with camaraderie. Orkanis that come of age have a huge competition thrown in their honor.
Other orkani like to joke that woodland orkani are part something else with how y they scale the tallest of trees. The naturally t urge to be high above the ground into everyday life as woodland orkan build their homes atop the tallest trees and their diets mainly consist of creatures that frequent the canopies. They also run ecological colleges and workshops.
River orkani value community. River children are raised by the community and often don't know who their birth parents are, instead seeing all adults as their parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles depending on the relationship they've formed. Because they frequently aid the Woodland and Mountain orkani, these other groups view them as an extended part of the community and throw celebrations in their honor.
Spirituality is at the heart of Swamp Orkani culture. Known for their vast herbilogical knowledge and curative elixirs, some are surprised to find that, the creations and gathering of knowledge is all part of their beliefs. These orkani believe that each herb used and each bit of knowledge have a sort of spirit of their own and that they are helping that spirit fulfill its purpose, As such the creation and gathering of knowledge is seen as a deeply spiritual practice.
Amongst the orkani, Cave Orkani are said to be the most
introspective, A number of the mushrooms they grow have mind altering properties. The effects are used to think deeply on who you are as a person and what your best life might look like in or our of the community.
