Game is a part of the Napoleon system by TiS and uses its mechanics. Ownership of any recent game of the series (ie. Preussisch Eylau 1807) is required to play, because it comes with no rules, only with board, counters and scenarios set up. Game contains two scenarios, showing both days of the battle.
Ostrołęka 1807 was published in the 50th issue of Taktyka i Strategia magazine. It is completely different game than Ostrołęka 1831 (that also contained scenario for 1807), using different board, counters and rules, even if being a part of the same system.
