Description

Otete Sama is a horror dexterity game about a school girl who was found with no hands, hanging from a double-bay window, which had a bloody hand print on it. Newspapers at the time attributed her death to a tragic accident caused by Western architecture.

The game comes with a set of cards and 3 red strings. One of the cards shows Otete's bloody hand print on the reverse side.

The cards are placed face down on the table, and surrounded by a red string. One player takes on the role of Otete and the other are investigators from the Occult Research Society. The investigators close their eyes and hold a second red string with their pinky fingers.

The investigators each turn over cards; if they reveal the hand card, the Otete player grabs their wrist and that investigator can no longer reveal cards. However, those players can pull on the red string as a way to communicate to the remaining investigators.

Once the remaining investigators think they know where the hand is, they can announce it. The investigators carefully set down the red string and each remaining player has once chance to reveal the card.
