Use resources to construct buildings to help your village. Each building will help a number of people in your village. The player who helps the most people is the winner!
Each turn players have the option of asking another player for a specific resource card. If the other player has that resource, they must trade it for another card from the active player's hand. If they do not have it, both players draw a card from the resource deck.
They may then construct buildings by playing sets of resource cards matching the next available building on a given pile, or upgrade an existing building (only paying the difference) if they have already built a smaller building of one of the available building cards.
The game ends when one player has built 5 buildings in their village, each other player then has one more turn. Players add up all the people their buildings have helped, the winner is the player who has the highest total.
