Overlander was a Roadblasters style driving shoot 'em up game set in a Mad Max style post-apocalyptic future. It was developed and publised by Elite Systems Limited for the ZX Spectrum, Amstrad and C64, as well as the Amiga and Atari ST.
Each level offered the player 2 missions, one was harder than the other, but also more lucrative, and half the money was paid up front, which allowed you to buy weapons and armour for your car.
