Owonikoko is played over seven rounds in which all players are engaged in the money hustle, striving to be the richest at the end of the game.
On active player’s turn the following actions are possible, however only 3 actions are permitted on active turn. This can be a combination of any action here or a repetition of one totaling 3 actions.
1. Draw card: player draws a card from the top of the draw deck
2. Play an action card (A.C): player plays an action card from hand and resolves said action
3. Play a counteraction card (C.C): player plays a counteraction card to stop or effect current active action
4. Sell goods: play goods card and gain gold accordingly
When not the active player, only one action is possible and permitted during other players turn
1. Play a counteraction card: play a C.C card to cancel effect of an active card, however this can only be done once while that player is active.
End of Game:
At the end of seven rounds, all players reveal their gold and richest player wins. If players tie, player with most goods win, if not they share victory.
