Paranormal is a game about hunting monsters, helping people, and preventing the end of the world. Take on the role of different members of the Remington family as you hunt down ghosts, vampires, witches, and demons across the United States. Along the way, you'll collect clues about the whereabouts of the Big Bad who's trying to end the world, and then you'll try to go stop it.
At its core, Paranormal is an action point game with dice-rolling combat. Spend action points to move, fight, and find helpful asset cards. Roll dice to meet monster card requirements and slow down the doom track. Use item, weapon, and ally cards to mitigate dice rolls and manipulate monsters.
Put together enough clues to figure out where the Big Bad, a missing family member, and a special weapon are, and then head to that town to prevent the end of the world and win the game. All in about 45 minutes.
