Mahjong Party is a Wii representation of the Western Mahjong solitaire game. There are three different game modes available:
- In the adventure mode, the user can unlock 8 different Chinese regions, each region features a distinct board setup and some historical background information.
- In the solitaire mode, the user can choose between 50 different game boards.
- In the party mode up to four players can collaborate or play against each other in eight different multiplayer-variants.
