This status effect causing barbarian archetype is intended to be used in conjunction with the barbarian class as presented in the Player’s Handbook or alongside the options from Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything.

It is envisaged as being the barbarian equivalent of a battlemaster fighter, allowing players a wider range of tactical options to play around with without removing the core appeal of front line violence. At the same time it introduces the possibility of them causing lingering injuries of varied effect and duration.
