This is the initial version of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, released as the game was announced and freely available for public playtest while Paizo developed the more complete Beta version. It focused on the changes from the Dungeons & Dragons (3.5 Edition) envisioned for the Pathfinder RPG and (unlike the final game) did not contain the complete set of rules necessary for play. The rules presented here have substantial differences from the final game.
