Pathogen Wars is a unique, action-packed game in which the player takes control of a variety of types of white blood cells in order to do battle against a formidable host of viruses, bacteria, fungi, and other microscopic foes. Featuring a total of 27 missions, Pathogen Wars puts the player in the midst of one of nature's most intense battlegrounds and at the heart of the sophisticated systems that defend our bodies from disease every moment of every day.
Pathogen Wars won the award for Best Playable Game Incorporating STEM Themes in the high school category of the National STEM Video Game Challenge in 2012 and won a gold key in the 2014 Scholastic Art and Writing Awards.
