Description
An early British two-player action game, simulating Association Football (Soccer) Penalty Kicks. The game consists of two opposing plywood figures: the penalty taker and a goalkeeper in a wooden goal frame. The object is to score most goals by shooting the ball into the goal using the Striker's spring-loaded leg. The goalkeeper attempts to save the shot by moving across the goal mouth along a horizontal wire guide.
A simple game typical of the period, it dates from the early 1950's.
