It is based off a location in the Forgotten Realms. I kept some of the names, but ran them through a English to Hungarian translator and made up new names based on Hungarian words. They are not a true translation, but used for inspiration.
The formatting for this project became a...not a problem, but more of a challenge. A few different points of information wanting to share the same space. It was a fun challenge. I think I got the do-dads looking okay and intelligible.
This is a hard and brutal area, that puts the party in a situation where they don't have the upper hand. The men and women of Perdition Pass suffer everyday because of the isolation, freezing temperatures, and lack of any luxuries. So when a wealth (or poor) adventuring party comes through, they have no problem allowing the weather to kill the party. It just means there are more supplies for them once they thaw.
