Does the Collector's Edition come only in the format of an Upgrade pack?
Yes. There are various reasons for this. Firstly we respect the large community of petrichor players, supporters and backers, and we wish to give them an option to get all of the content of the game in a cost-effective manner. We do not want collectors and long time supporters to have to purchase an entirely new set with a lot of components they already own. Secondly, since we are creating a brand new artwork for the deluxe edition, and know that collectors prefer to have every single released item for the game, this makes it easy and cost-effective for them to own both the artwork on the original base box, as well as the new artwork. So in other words, if you already have the base game, just get the upgrade pack, if you don't have the game at all, get a copy of the base game and the upgrade pack.
